Privacy Policy
Nova Systems ("Nova," "we," "us") is a service of Luminary Ventures Corp, doing business as Nova Systems. This policy explains what information we collect at resume.nova-systems.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Nova to help you see and improve how your experience is positioned — not to collect more of your data than we need to do that.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your details: your name and email address.
- Your target: the role and company you tell us you're aiming for.
- Your resume: the resume text you upload or paste so Nova can analyze and, if you choose, rebuild it.
Payment information
When you purchase, payment is processed by Stripe. Your full card number is handled by Stripe and is not stored on Nova's systems. We receive a confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the plan purchased and the last four digits) needed to provide and support your purchase.
Information collected automatically
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in to your results (see Your results and storage below) and to run the site. We collect basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
- To generate your Visibility analysis and, for paid plans, your rebuilt materials (resume, cover letter, and outreach).
- To deliver your results on-screen and by email.
- To process your payment and manage your plan.
- To provide support and respond to your questions.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
How your resume is processed
To produce your analysis and rebuilt materials, your resume text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through a secure interface, solely to generate your results. We do not sell your resume, and we do not use it to train AI models. Anthropic does not train its models on information submitted through its business API. Your resume is processed to create your results — it is not published, shared, or built into any public profile.
Your results and storage
When your analysis or packet is ready, we create a secure link that lives in your browser's local storage for a limited time (about 24 hours) so you can return to your results on the same device. To deliver your materials and support you, your contact details and a short diagnostic summary (such as your Visibility score and target role) are stored in our customer system (GoHighLevel).
Service providers we rely on
We share information only with providers that help us run Nova, and only as needed to deliver the service:
- Anthropic — AI processing of your analysis and materials.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- GoHighLevel — customer records, email delivery, and automation.
- Netlify — website and application hosting.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Data retention
We keep your contact and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes. Resume content is retained only as needed to generate and deliver your results.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@nova-systems.ai. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, including to request a copy of your data, ask for deletion, or opt out of the "sale" of personal information — which we do not do.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Nova is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Your continued use of Nova means you accept the updated policy.
